About the Job

We are seeking a Senior Application & Service Consultant to join a leading medical technology organization specializing in surgical navigation systems and image-guided surgery.

Based in Malaysia and covering Southeast Asia, you will provide clinical application support, technical service, customer training, and troubleshooting support to hospitals, surgeons, distributors, and healthcare professionals across the region.


You will work closely with regional and global teams to support the implementation, adoption, and effective use of surgical navigation technology.


Reporting to: Commercial Team

Work Mode: Malaysia-based + Regional Travel

Territory: Southeast Asia

Portfolio: Surgical Navigation Systems and Image-Guided Surgery


The Role

  1. Application Support: Provide clinical and technical support for surgical navigation systems.
  2. Surgical Support: Support surgeons and operating theatre teams during procedures when required.
  3. Installation & Implementation: Support the installation, setup, and implementation of systems at hospitals.
  4. Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve technical and application-related issues.
  5. Training: Conduct product and clinical application training for surgeons, healthcare professionals, and distributors.
  6. Customer Support: Build strong relationships with hospitals, surgeons, distributors, and key customers.
  7. Pre-Sales Support: Support product demonstrations, technical presentations, customer meetings, and tenders.
  8. Service Coordination: Work with internal and global teams to coordinate technical service and issue resolution.
  9. Market Feedback: Provide feedback on customer needs, product performance, and market developments.
  10. Regional Travel: Travel across Southeast Asia to support customers, installations, training, surgeries, and other business activities.


Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or above in Biomedical Engineering, Medical Engineering, Engineering, Life Sciences, Nursing, or a related field
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in surgical navigation, medical imaging, image-guided surgery, surgical robotics, medical device applications, or technical service
  • Experience with surgical navigation systems or related medical technology is highly preferred
  • Experience supporting customers in an operating theatre environment
  • Strong technical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Good communication, presentation, and customer relationship management skills
  • Able to work independently and collaborate with regional and global teams
  • Willingness to travel extensively across Southeast Asia
  • Fluent English is mandatory; additional Southeast Asian languages are an advantage.
