Global Continuous Improvement Director

About the Role

We are partnering with a leading global manufacturing company to appoint a Global Continuous Improvement Director to lead enterprise-wide Operational Excellence and Continuous Improvement initiatives across its international manufacturing footprint.

This is a newly created leadership position supporting the company's rapid global expansion. Reporting directly to the Chief Operating Officer, the successful candidate will drive Lean transformation, operational excellence, and business performance improvements across multiple manufacturing sites worldwide.


Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute the global Continuous Improvement strategy aligned with business objectives.
  • Lead Lean Manufacturing, Operational Excellence, and business transformation initiatives across multiple international manufacturing sites.
  • Establish standardized Continuous Improvement frameworks, governance, and best practices globally.
  • Drive measurable improvements in productivity, quality, cost, delivery, inventory, and operational efficiency.
  • Partner with Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Engineering, Quality, and Operations leaders to identify and implement improvement opportunities.
  • Lead and develop a global Continuous Improvement team while coaching regional and site-level CI leaders.
  • Build a culture of operational excellence and continuous improvement throughout the organization.
  • Monitor performance through KPIs and ensure sustainable implementation of improvement initiatives.
  • Support strategic manufacturing expansion and operational transformation projects globally.


Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain, Operations Management, or a related discipline.
  • Extensive experience leading Continuous Improvement or Operational Excellence initiatives within a multinational manufacturing environment.
  • Proven track record of driving Lean transformation across multiple manufacturing sites or regions.
  • Strong experience working with cross-functional and multicultural teams.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and leadership skills.
  • Fluent English communication skills are essential.


Preferred Background

  • Experience within Medical Devices, Electronics, Automotive, EMS, Industrial Manufacturing, or other complex manufacturing environments.
  • Strong understanding of Lean Manufacturing, Operational Excellence, Six Sigma, and business transformation methodologies.
  • Experience supporting global manufacturing operations across Asia, Europe, and North America is highly desirable.
