Role Description

As a Sales Specialist, you will be responsible for driving the sales and market expansion of the company's capital medical equipment portfolio across hospitals within the Central Region. This is a consultative sales role that requires you to build strong relationships with clinicians, hospital management, procurement teams, and biomedical engineers while managing the entire sales cycle from opportunity identification through to project implementation. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver tailored solutions that address customer needs and achieve business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

Drive sales growth by achieving assigned revenue and market share targets within the Central Region.

Identify, develop, and manage new business opportunities while strengthening relationships with existing hospital accounts.
Conduct product presentations, clinical demonstrations, and value-based sales discussions with healthcare professionals and key decision-makers.
Manage the full sales cycle, including prospecting, quotation preparation, tender submissions, contract negotiations, equipment installation coordination, and post-sales follow-up.
Build and maintain strong relationships with clinicians, hospital administrators, procurement departments, and biomedical engineering teams.
Develop strategic account plans to maximize customer engagement and long-term business growth.

Requirements

Bachelor's Degree in Biomedical Engineering, Life Sciences, Medical Science, Business, or a related discipline.

Minimum 3–5 years of sales experience within the medical device industry, preferably selling capital equipment to hospitals.
Proven track record of consistently achieving or exceeding sales targets.
Strong understanding of hospital procurement processes, tender management, and stakeholder engagement within both public and private healthcare sectors.
Excellent consultative selling, negotiation, presentation, and relationship management skills.
