Role Description

As a Data Governance & Privacy Senior Consultant, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the responsible and compliant management of data throughout the Group. You will be responsible for developing and implementing data governance policies, procedures, and best practices, as well as overseeing privacy initiatives to protect critical information assets.

Key Responsibilities

Experience: At least 2–5 years of dedicated experience in Data Governance & Privacy.

Domain Knowledge: Proven experience with data management best practices, including data quality management, data architecture, data security, master data management (MDM), and metadata.
Regulatory Compliance: Strong understanding and operational knowledge of data privacy and protection laws in Malaysia (PDPA).
Environment: Experience navigating cross-functional responsibilities within a large, complex organization.
Soft Skills: Analytical mindset with the ability to identify risks and solve problems proactively; excellent written and verbal communication skills for stakeholder alignment.

Certification (Advantage): Professional data governance certification (e.g., CDMP) is highly preferred.
