Role Description
This is a confidential search for a leadership position with full P&L responsibility, overseeing the Malaysia team and driving overall business growth. My client is seeking a strategic and agile leader with strong commercial acumen, the ability to navigate a dynamic market environment, and a proven track record of delivering business results.
Key Responsibilities
Own the Malaysia business strategy and deliver revenue, profitability, and market share targets.
Lead and develop high-performing commercial teams across Sales, Marketing, and related functions.
Drive market expansion, strategic initiatives, and strengthen relationships with key stakeholders including hospitals, KOLs, distributors, and healthcare partners.
Manage business operations, forecasting, budgeting, and resource planning.
Collaborate with regional and global teams to execute growth strategies and ensure compliance with regulatory and quality requirements.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Biomedical Engineering, Pharmacy, Business, or a related field; MBA is an advantage.
More than 10 years of experience in the medical device or healthcare industry, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
Proven track record in full P&L management, commercial leadership, and delivering business growth.
Strong understanding of the Malaysia healthcare market, including public and private hospital channels.
