Role Description

Responsible to support software quality assurance activities across the full testing lifecycle. In this role, you will be involved in test planning, test design, automation, execution, and reporting to ensure software reliability, functionality, and performance.

Key Responsibilities

•Participate in end-to-end software testing activities, including analysis, test design, implementation, execution, and reporting.
•Develop and execute test cases, test scenarios, and test suites based on business and technical requirements.
•Lead and coordinate testing efforts from planning through release delivery.
•Design and implement effective test strategies to improve overall product quality.
•Perform automation testing for web applications using modern testing frameworks.
•Write and maintain automation scripts for functional and regression testing.
•Collaborate closely with software developers to foster a quality-first engineering culture.
•Promote best practices such as unit testing, test coverage tracking, bug prevention, and continuous quality improvements.
•Identify, troubleshoot, and document software defects while validating fixes.
•Manage and maintain testing environments, including test servers and related configurations.
•Conduct data validation and testing across large-scale data platforms and databases.

Requirements

•Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or related discipline.
•Minimum 3–5 years of experience in software testing or quality assurance within the IT industry.
•Hands-on experience in web application automation testing.
•Strong experience with Cypress and Playwright using JavaScript (mandatory).
•Familiarity with automation tools such as Selenium or HP UFT is an added advantage.
•Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments.
•Knowledge of databases such as PostgreSQL, Oracle, ClickHouse, or similar platforms.
•Experience with Big Data platforms and data validation, including exposure to Hadoop, Hive, or Spark infrastructure, is a plus.
•Familiarity with Linux-based systems, scripting, and command-line operations is advantageous.
•Prior exposure to industries such as telecommunications, analytics, or large-scale enterprise systems is beneficial.
