Client Description
We are partnering with a reputable multinational organization to hire an Accounts Payable Team Lead for their Accounts Payable function supporting the APAC region.
Role Description
The role will be responsible for overseeing end-to-end AP operations, managing a regional team, ensuring smooth invoice and payment processes, supporting month-end close activities, and driving process improvement initiatives within a SAP/S4HANA environment.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee end-to-end Accounts Payable (AP) operations
Manage invoice processing, payment runs, and vendor management
Ensure accurate and timely month-end close activities
Lead and support a regional AP team
Ensure compliance with company policies and internal controls
Monitor and resolve AP-related operational issues
Work within SAP/S4HANA environment for AP processing
Drive process improvements and operational efficiency
Collaborate with internal stakeholders and finance teams
Requirements
7 years of experience in Accounts Payable / P2P operations
Prior team leadership or supervisory experience
Strong knowledge of invoice processing, payments, reconciliations, and GR/IR
Hands-on experience with SAP / S4HANA
Shared services or client-facing exposure is an added advantage
Mandarin speaking is required as the role involves supporting and communicating with Mandarin-speaking stakeholders
