Main Duties & Responsibilities

Our client is currently seeking an experienced Head of Building Solutions to lead market development, project sales growth, and strategic positioning of its IBS and construction system solutions.

In this role, you will oversee sales strategy execution, project specification activities, and cross-functional coordination to drive market penetration and commercial performance across both private and government sectors.

Additional responsibilities include:

• Developing and executing sales and market growth strategies for building system solutions

• Driving specification activities with developers, consultants, contractors, and key stakeholders

• Leading and mentoring project sales teams to achieve sales and profitability targets

• Managing pricing strategies, market positioning, and commercial planning across projects

• Coordinating closely with internal teams including production, R&D, logistics, and operations to ensure smooth project delivery

• Monitoring market trends, competitor activities, and customer requirements to strengthen market positioning

• Leading client presentations, roadshows, and technical engagement sessions

• Supporting project planning activities to ensure quality, timeline, and operational alignment

• Ensuring team performance aligns with KPIs, sales targets, and business objectives

• Contributing to continuous product and system improvement initiatives through collaboration with technical teams

Candidate Profile

Our ideal candidate will be one who has most of the below criteria:

• Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Building Materials, Architecture, or related disciplines

• Around 8 years or more of experience within building materials, IBS, construction systems, or project-based technical sales environments

• Strong exposure to specification sales involving consultants, developers, contractors, and government-linked projects

• Proven leadership experience managing project or technical sales teams

• Good understanding of project cycles, pricing strategies, and construction market dynamics

• Strong communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills

• Commercially driven with the ability to identify and develop market opportunities

• Familiarity with IBS systems, prefabrication solutions, or technical construction products is advantageous
