About the role:
You will lead end‑to‑end market entry projects across new countries under a new international brand. This is a high‑ownership role require someone with strong analytical thinking and hands‑on execution, and who thrive in fast‑paced, start‑up‑like environments.
You will play a critical role in defining where and how the business expands, owning market assessment, execution planning, and on‑the‑ground delivery while working closely with senior stakeholders and building the capabilities of a lean but growing team.
Key responsibilities:
- Lead market feasibility studies for new countries, including market sizing, segmentation, customer behaviour, regulatory considerations, and competitive landscape.
- Develop data‑backed recommendations on country prioritisation, entry strategy, and expansion roadmap.
- Partner with senior leadership to define go‑to‑market strategies and investment rationale.
- Own the full lifecycle of international expansion projects, from planning through launch and stabilisation.
- Coordinate cross‑functional execution across operations, hiring, supply chain, finance, and external vendors.
- Drive timelines, milestones, risks, and dependencies to ensure on‑time and on‑budget delivery.
- Personally step in to unblock execution when required—this is a hands‑on role, not purely coordination.
- Work closely with internal teams on site identification and store rollout, including location assessment and readiness.
- Support operational setup and ensure new markets are equipped to scale post‑launch.
- Prepare clear updates, analysis, and recommendations for senior stakeholders.
- Act as a trusted partner to leadership, balancing strategic insight with execution realities.
Requirements:
- Min 5 years of experience in project management, strategy, operations, consulting, or expansion roles.
- Strong exposure to market entry, business analysis, or multi‑country projects.
- Experience in retail, consumer, e‑commerce, or high‑growth environments is highly beneficial.
- Backgrounds combining analysis and execution (e.g. strategy, PMO, consulting with delivery exposure) are ideal.
- Strong analytical capability: market sizing, competitive analysis, structured problem‑solving.
- Able to bring structure to messy and fast‑moving environments.
- Confident working with senior stakeholders and influencing without authority.
- Leadership potential with the ability to guide and stabilise junior teams.
- Highly adaptable, self‑motivated, and comfortable in a start‑up‑like setup.
