Head of Product Development (Lifestyle & Sensory Categories)
We’re partnering with an established retail organisation to hire a senior product leader to drive innovation and commercial success across a diverse, design-led portfolio.
This role sits at the intersection of creativity and strategy - ideal for someone who understands how to translate trends, consumer behaviour, and brand direction into products that actually sell.
What You’ll Be Driving
- Shape and execute product strategies across multiple lifestyle categories
- Turn consumer insights and market trends into commercially viable product pipelines
- Lead end-to-end product development - from concept to launch
- Collaborate closely with design, marketing, merchandising, and operations teams
- Drive innovation across materials, packaging, and overall product experience
- Manage supplier relationships, costing, and production timelines
- Analyse product performance and continuously optimise the range
What We’re Looking For
- 8–12 years of experience in product development within retail / consumer-driven industries
- Proven track record managing multi-category or lifestyle product portfolios
- Strong commercial acumen — you understand margins, pricing, and performance
- Experience working with regional or international suppliers
- Ability to balance creativity with execution and speed-to-market
- Strong stakeholder management and leadership capabilities
