Role Description
Our client is currently seeking a Technical Sales Executive to drive project sales growth and specification activities within the construction industry.
In this role, you will work closely with consultants, quantity surveyors, engineers, developers, and contractors to promote technical building solutions and secure project opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
• Developing and maintaining relationships with consultants, developers, engineers, quantity surveyors, and project stakeholders
• Promoting and specifying construction-related products into upcoming and ongoing projects
• Understanding client requirements and proposing suitable technical solutions
• Preparing proposals, quotations, and project-related documentation
• Conducting product presentations, technical briefings, and client engagement sessions
• Providing technical support throughout the project lifecycle
• Identifying new business opportunities and expanding the project pipeline
• Monitoring market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments
• Managing sales activities independently to achieve business targets
• Supporting business growth initiatives across different territories when required
Requirements
• Diploma or Degree in Construction, Engineering, Architecture, Building Technology, or related disciplines
• Around 2–5 years or more of experience in specification sales, project sales, or technical sales within the construction industry
• Experience engaging with consultants, developers, contractors, and project stakeholders
• Ability to read and interpret construction or architectural drawings
• Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
• Commercially driven with the ability to identify and develop project opportunities
• Comfortable conducting presentations and technical discussions with clients
• Fluent in English and Bahasa Malaysia
