Now operating in multiple markets across Southeast Asia and the Middle East, the brand relies on centralized kitchens and a franchise-driven model to support its expansion. As it continues entering new markets, the client is investing heavily in quality and food safety to ensure a consistent experience at every location, everywhere in the world.
Role Description
You will safeguard food quality and safety standards across the client's growing network of restaurants, suppliers, and central kitchens. Your role covers the full spectrum of quality assurance — from developing SOPs and conducting audits, to managing supplier quality and supporting new market launches. You'll work closely with Operations, Procurement, and Franchise teams to maintain consistency and compliance as the brand expands.
This role suits someone detail-oriented and hands-on, with strong communication skills and cultural sensitivity. You should be fluent in Mandarin, English and Thai; and come from an F&B, food retail, or related background.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and maintain quality and food safety standards, policies, and SOPs
- Keep operations aligned with HACCP, GMP, ISO, and relevant local food safety laws
- Carry out regular audits of hygiene, quality, and food safety at stores, supplier sites, and central kitchens
- Track product consistency and quality across the entire restaurant network
- Get to the root of quality issues and put corrective measures in place
- Assess and audit suppliers to confirm they meet quality and safety requirements
- Keep tabs on raw material quality, traceability, and how suppliers are performing over time
- Provide QA/QC support to central kitchens and manufacturing sites
- Oversee product testing, shelf-life checks, and quality inspections
- Design training content and run hygiene and food safety sessions for operations staff
- Roll out QA/QC frameworks in new markets and ensure alignment with local regulations
- Compile quality KPIs and reporting for headquarters
- Track complaints and safety incidents, and drive ongoing improvement initiatives
Requirements
- Degree in Food Science, Food Safety, Microbiology, or a similar discipline
- Certifications such as HACCP, GMP, or ISO 22000 are a plus
- 8–13 years working in quality assurance or food safety roles
- Background in restaurant chains, quick-service dining, central kitchens, or food production
- Exposure to multi-country or franchise operations is a bonus
- Solid grasp of food safety laws and quality management frameworks
- Sharp auditing, analytical, and problem-solving abilities
- Comfortable working solo as well as partnering across different teams
- Highly organized, with the ability to thrive under pressure and tight timelines
- Fluent in English and Thai; Mandarin strongly preferred for liaising with HQ and regional stakeholders
