Key Responsibilities
- Manage full sets of accounts, including AP, AR, GL, fixed assets, bank reconciliations and cash flow.
- Lead month-end and year-end closing and prepare timely monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports.
- Prepare management reports, budgets, forecasts and variance analysis to support business decisions.
- Ensure compliance with local accounting standards, tax regulations and statutory reporting requirements.
- Coordinate corporate tax, indirect tax, withholding tax, transfer pricing documentation and annual filings.
- Liaise with auditors, tax consultants, banks, company secretaries and government authorities.
- Partner with Operations, Supply Chain, Procurement, HR and Business Development on new store openings, expansion plans, CAPEX and investment proposals.
- Strengthen internal controls, finance SOPs and reporting processes while supporting ERP implementation and system enhancement.
- Monitor working capital, inventory valuation, operating costs and financial risks.
- Act as the key finance contact between assigned overseas entities and headquarters in Beijing.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline; ACCA, CPA, CIMA, ICAEW or equivalent is an advantage.
- At least 5–8 years of relevant finance and accounting experience.
- Strong hands-on experience in full-set accounting, financial reporting, closing, taxation and audit.
- Experience in F&B, restaurant chains, retail, FMCG, food manufacturing or consumer goods is highly preferred.
- Regional, multi-entity or overseas finance exposure would be advantageous.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and familiar with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, Kingdee or NetSuite.
