About the Role
We are supporting a leading Indian battery-materials company in hiring an experienced LFP Operations & Technology Expert to support the manufacturing, optimisation and development of Lithium Iron Phosphate (LFP) cathode materials for EV and ESS applications.
This is a highly technical role requiring strong hands-on experience in commercial LFP manufacturing, cathode-material R&D and product development, particularly involving roller hearth furnace operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead technical optimisation of LFP manufacturing using roller hearth furnaces.
- Analyse product quality, performance and process variation.
- Conduct root-cause analysis and develop process–property correlations.
- Optimise particle size, morphology and carbon coating.
- Optimise calcination and synthesis processes.
- Improve tap density and compaction density.
- Reduce impurities and improve material consistency.
- Improve electrochemical performance.
- Develop new LFP grades for EV and ESS applications.
- Provide technical support for customer qualification.
- Support manufacturing troubleshooting and process improvement.
- Train and mentor technical and R&D personnel.
Requirements
- Strong commercial LFP manufacturing experience.
- Hands-on experience with roller hearth furnace operations.
- Strong background in LFP / cathode-material R&D and product development.
- Knowledge of particle morphology, carbon coating, calcination, density and electrochemical performance.
- Strong process troubleshooting and root-cause analysis capability.
- Experience with customer qualification is advantageous.
- Mandarin / Chinese language capability strongly preferred.
- Candidates from China with relevant LFP manufacturing experience are strongly encouraged to apply.
