About Our Client
Our client is an established specialist in the façade and curtain wall industry, delivering technical façade solutions for construction and architectural projects.
They are currently looking for a Façade Designer to join their team in Taiwan. This is a Taiwan-based position, rather than an overseas posting from Malaysia, and is suited to professionals who are looking to build their career within the façade and building envelope industry.

Main Duties & Responsibilities
Our client is currently seeking a technically capable Façade Designer to support the design and technical development of curtain wall and façade projects.
You will work closely with architects, consultants, suppliers, site teams, and internal stakeholders to develop practical façade solutions and ensure designs are properly coordinated throughout the project lifecycle.
Additional responsibilities include:
• Preparing façade / curtain wall designs, construction drawings, shop drawings, and fabrication drawings
• Coordinating technical information with architects, consultants, suppliers, and internal project teams
• Reviewing design documents, material specifications, and technical proposals for façade projects
• Supporting the resolution of design-related technical queries during procurement and construction stages
• Carrying out drawing revisions and AutoCAD modelling
• Preparing and maintaining project-related technical documentation
• Coordinating with site teams on design variations and technical issues
• Supporting project teams to ensure designs are practical, coordinated, and suitable for construction
Candidate Profile
Our ideal candidate will have most of the following:
• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Architectural Engineering, or related engineering disciplines
• Around 2–5 years of relevant façade design experience
• Practical experience in curtain wall / façade design and technical drawings
• Proficiency in AutoCAD; knowledge of Revit is advantageous
• Good understanding of curtain wall and façade systems, including stick systems, unitised systems, and cladding
• Able to interpret architectural and engineering drawings
• Strong attention to detail and technical coordination skills
• Good communication and teamwork abilities
• Comfortable working in a project-based construction environment
• Willing to work closely with site and project teams
• Mandarin and English proficiency is preferred for effective communication within the Taiwan-based project environment
